I love butterflies…just not the ones in my stomach right now! As I searched for a cute theme to apply to this blog, the knots in my stomach twisted and turned like they were on a roller coaster. That’s what I feel like…I’m on a roller coaster-unsure of what’s happening next, wondering whether or not I will be able to cope with the next turn, trying to maintain my composure after the last hill (or whatever you call them, I’ve only ridden sporadically. LOL).

I’ve always felt apprehensive about embarking on a new adventures. As I get older, the apprehension only gets worse. This time is no different, as the butterflies can attest. A million concerns go through my mind-will clients truly like my work, will I find enough clients to work with, what happens if, what happens when, how do I, when do I, what if, what if, what if… I could go on all day long. But at the end of the day, if I don’t try to do what I enjoy then I lose. My father always said, “Nothing beats a failure, but a try.” I WILL fail if I do not try, and I don’t like to fail.

So, This is it! My official launch is here. Welcome to z. lynn photography! I anticipate serving your photography needs with a specialty in weddings and engagements.

My hat must go off to Monica, my photography instructor. She helped provide the necessary information for me to get started. And I am still reeling from the abundance of information I received this weekend at Monica B’s Photography Business Course! Monica is an excellent teacher. She made sure we all understood the information and had an opportunity to ask questions, voice our concerns and even play in the dirt, a little! I am so grateful to her for the wealth of knowledge and expertise that she has bestowed upon me. Feelings of invincibility, unbridled passion and overwhelming insatiability for my photography are constant with me now. Knowledge of the business side of business is an important factor in the success of the company. She has equipped me with the knowledge to start and sustain a profitable business. Thank you so much, Monica!

“I AM a photographer!”

Have a Great Day! 🙂
